What do you do when an organization needs to deliver the right message at the right time?

Create video. Our team partnered with the superintendent and colleagues in IIT to write and produce the award-winning Superintendent’s Spotlight video series in-house. Our goal was to provide audiences with short video sound bites that would give updates about the school while telling a more dynamic shared story – the school’s “why” – by including multiple perspectives from student and staff voices.

Results:

Our efforts helped establish a much-needed window into the school’s services and program offerings and provided a rare glimpse of the high school experience. The ETHS Educational Foundation was able to leverage the video series to help improve individual giving and grants. One of the videos in the Superintendent’s Spotlight series received Honorable Mention in the 2017 National School Public Relations Association Publications & Electronic Media Awards Program in the Video (produced in-house) category. The award-winning video highlights what it means to be an ETHS Wildkit and how the high school’s newly redesigned Heritage Hall represents the many voices of the school community.
