Mobile App

Connecting users to critical school information, news, and events through the use of a Mobile App available in 33 languages.

With the increase in mobile device use among students, parents, and educators, this communication tech strategy provided a more equitable way for the school to communicate with its most important audiences using their phone’s own language preferences (up to 33 languages). In partnership with IIT, we developed the well-branded and concise communication tool that served the specific needs of mobile app users. Our team also executed a communications strategy to launch the new mobile app as well as a micro-targeted download campaign using social media and word-of-mouth for new app users.

Results:

The mobile app was a much anticipated and welcome addition to the communication tools offered by the school, with regular downloads occurring since its launch. Incoming classes of students, parents, and staff create spikes in downloads each year at orientation and during prospective events. Alumni also engage with the school on this platform.
