The McGaw YMCA hosted an annual gala fundraising event to raise money and support. The popular event returned in 2024 after a multi-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The large-scale event was managed by the Development team and planning included a custom event brand and theme (Nurturing Our Roots).

Results:
The Marketing team played a pivotal role in the success of the 2024 Gala by using various strategies such as creating sophisticated promotional materials and an event web page, writing compelling messaging, contributing to the video production, and using targeted advertising strategies on multiple channels. I led the pre- and post-event publicity efforts and designed the event invitations, signage, program booklet, event webpages and digital design assets. The gala raised over $265,000 in support of the McGaw YMCA’s mission and was well attended with a diverse group of more than 200 attendees.
