Six months ago my path was altered forever. It’s time for a new adventure. I’m proud of my 8 years at ETHS and adore all of my work friends, former students, and chosen Wildkit family.
As I close this chapter in my book, I lovingly leave behind my efforts to disrupt ideological systems, two carefully chosen orange and blue Pantone colors, some amazing branding and signage, and a long list of other creative work.
My hope is that these gifts – also and always inspired by my son Yakez – will live on to honor all who walked the High School’s halls in years past and those who will walk the halls now and in years to come.
I’ll be busy with my nonprofit volunteer work at Howard Area Community Center in Chicago and spending time with loved ones, especially my son’s friends as we remember his life and legacy.
I’ve started looking for the next place to do transformative work and I’ll update you once I decide where to land. 🧡💙⭐️🌼📒📝🗺✨
